1st XI Hockey – Worner Shield

Our 1st XI hockey team took part in the annual Worner Shield Tournament in Christchurch on the 20th & 21st of July which consisted of CBHS, Christ’s College, St Bedes, Westlake, St Paul’s & Whangarei Boys High.

Results:

CBHS vs St Paul’s Collegiate – Win 7-2

CBHS vs Whangārei Boys’ High School –Loss 0-5

CBHS vs Westlake Boys High School – Loss 0-4

Our Boys showed grit against very good competition and ended in 3rd place after the tournament. Overall, this was great preparation for the upcoming Rankin Cup in September.
