Dave Bone

Dave started at Christchurch Boys’ High School in 1996. He has taught Physical Education and Commerce, and been a Dean before moving into the Senior Leadership Team.

Dave has coached rugby, swimming, golf, football and water polo during his time at CBHS, including the 1st XV for five years winning two Press Cups, a National Title and a World Title. He has been heavily involved in the development of CBHS water polo over the past six years, coaching at Regional and National level.

Working with young men and seeing them grow is his passion. Boys will make mistakes but trying not to make the same mistake twice is one of his aims.

After many years involved in the pastoral side of the school, he has now taken on a new role. He is heading staffing and relief, along with being the Head of Sport and Culture.
