CBHS Shines at 2024 Zonta Awards with Outstanding Student Achievements

Christchurch Boys’ High School made an impressive mark at this year’s annual Zonta Awards, held on Thursday, October 31st, with four nominations across highly competitive categories.
In the category for “Most Outstanding Achievement in One Sport,” CBHS Monitor Harry Galvan claimed top honors for his exceptional accomplishments in rowing. Galvan triumphed in a field of 13 outstanding candidates, including fellow CBHS student Cooper Wightman, whose contributions further underscored the school’s athletic prowess.

Additionally, Monitor Finn McLeod was awarded the “Best All-Rounder” for his remarkable achievements in both rugby and athletics, standing out in a category filled with equally talented individuals.

CBHS’s 1st XI Cricket team also received a nomination for “Most Outstanding Team,” bringing home the “Highly Commended” award in this category.
