Thanks also to Mr Jones for his help as assistant mechanic and kitchen hand and to Mrs Gilmore for being an awesome camp mum. To Mr McNaughton for his support and encouragement to riders and his time on the mountain marshalling, thank you. And to all the parents who were there to support their sons and do any job to help things run smoothly.

Canterbury Secondary Schools held 3rd April at Halswell at the Crocodile MTB Park.

Finally we were able to finish the season off after starting the 5 race series in early February. We had a good turn out despite the interruption of rugby trials. This did not affect the results as the good form shown at XC racing at South Islands continued for Ben Davies in u14 boys, taking gold and his older brother, Josh Davies taking gold in the U17 boys. In the U17 boys Andre Free came second and Mika Toshach 3rd for clean sweep in this grade.

Overall due to the number of riders we had on the day plus results helped CBHS take out the overall Boys school trophy.

Thanks to Mr Dunnett, Mr McNaughton and Mr Ralston for your support for the boys it does not go unnoticed.
