Simon Yorston
Rounding out our Olympian spotlight this week is Simon Yorston. Since his time at Boys’ High, Simon has risen through the ranks of New Zealand Hockey, making his senior Black Sticks debut in 2022. Simon showcased his talent and dedication in the Men’s Hockey event at the Paris Olympics, and we couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishments. Let’s celebrate this outstanding achievement and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

We are extremely proud of the remarkable achievements of Finn, Simon, and Laurence. Their dedication and perseverance have brought them to the pinnacle of their sports, and we can’t wait to see what incredible milestones they will reach next. We look forward to cheering them on as they continue to shine on the world stage.

Finn Surman

Our second Olympian in the spotlight this week is Finn Surman. Since graduating from Boys’ High, Finn has been making strides in football, playing in Wellington before recently securing a transfer to MLS club, Portland Timbers.
Finn represented us proudly in the Men’s Football event at the Paris Olympics, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with his achievements. Join us in celebrating this incredible milestone and in wishing him continued success for the upcoming season.

Laurence Pithie

Kicking Koff our celebration of Olympians this week, we’re proud to spotlight Laurence Pithie. A 2020 Boys’ High graduate, Laurence has been making waves on the pro circuit and recently signed with Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe for the upcoming WorldTour season.
Laurence recently competed in the Time Trial and Road Race events at the Paris Olympics, and we couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishments. Join us in congratulating him on this remarkable achievement and in wishing him all the best for the upcoming season.
